More than 900 kilometres of cycling tours through Luxembourg: “VeloTour Luxembourg” is a journey of discovery of the Grand Duchy on wheels. From a choice of thirteen tours, cycling devotees – be it serious cycling enthusiasts, hobby cyclists or cycling families – get to pedal through the entire country, on rural paths or national roads with little traffic. An up-to-date topographical map of the Grand Duchy as well as city plans of Luxembourg and Esch-sur-Alzette illustrate all the routes as well as the entire national cycling network. The enclosed accompanying booklet describes the tours in more details, while an elevation profile gives an indication of the level of difficulty of each tour and the distances involved.
The featured tours are merely suggestions, which can be changed or combined as desired. For those who wish to discover Luxembourg away from the cycling paths, interesting nearby attractions are marked on the maps. The accompanying booklet furthermore contains a wealth of tourist information, turning the joys of cycling into a true adventure.
